Before you book

Common questions answered up front.

Do I need a diagnosis or referral?
No. You can book directly. No referral or prior diagnosis is required for either counseling or coaching.
Does insurance cover this?
Yes, for Oregon counseling clients. Aetna, Cigna, Cigna EAP, Kaiser Permanente Northwest, PacificSource, Regence BlueCross BlueShield, United Healthcare, and United Healthcare EAP are all accepted. Your copay is billed at the start of each session. Insurance is not accepted in Idaho or other states.
Is my information kept private?
Yes. No diagnosis is filed with your insurance company without your explicit consent. Your records are fully confidential.
How long will I need to come?
Most clients see meaningful progress in 6 to 12 sessions. We set a clear goal from the start and track toward it. This is not indefinite or open-ended.
What do I need for a telehealth session?
A phone, tablet, or computer with a camera and a reasonably private space. Sessions use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform. No special software is required.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Cancellation and rescheduling are handled through the respective booking platforms: Mindful Therapy Group for counseling and Calendly for coaching.
