About Virtus

Built on the belief that lasting change requires both insight and action.

Virtus was founded to fill a gap: a practice that takes mental health seriously without losing sight of the practical. We combine evidence-based counseling with structured coaching to give clients tools they can actually use, not just talk about.

Our approach

Why Virtus is different

Most men who come to Virtus are not looking for someone to just listen. They want to understand what is driving their patterns, build concrete skills to change them, and leave each session with something to apply. That is exactly how we work.

We draw from well-researched, evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing, but we do not apply them rigidly. Every client gets a plan tailored to their specific goals, values, and circumstances.

Our practice specializes in working with men. We understand the particular pressures men face in their careers, relationships, and sense of identity, and we have built an environment where those pressures can be addressed directly and without judgment.

What we stand for

Three principles that guide every session

Results over process
We measure success by real change, not hours in a chair. Every session has a direction and a purpose.
Tools, not just talk
You leave each session with something concrete to use. Structured exercises, frameworks, and workbooks are part of how we work.
Privacy by design
Private pay means no diagnosis is filed with your insurance without your consent. What happens here stays here.
